On October 22nd, 2009, I attended the grand opening of the first Microsoft Store in Fashion Square Mall, Scottsdale, Arizona. The Microsoft Store is a blatant rip-off of the Apple Retail experience, whose first stores opened in 2001 and have now grown to over 200 stores worldwide.
