It is interesting to note that Alicia is only about as far from you guys as Tokyo--about 750 miles in my crude estimation! How cool is that! And who could have predicted it 10 years ago!

Hey Jay,

This is your cousin Alicia. Dan and I are in Vladivostok Russia right now finishing up our adoption process of our son Dmitry Alexander. We flew through Incheon on the way here on the 11th and will be going back through there on the 8th of Dec. en route for home at last! We stayed the night at the Hyatt Regency and were way impressed with the Korean service. It reminded me of Aunt Jana (since she was born there) the way everyone was so polite and using such perfect manners. I still remember her saying 'your welcome' 6 times until I'd finally get it and say 'thank-you'. What can I say; I was a blonde then. We have friends who also taught ESL in Korea for a year after they were married. They live in Seattle now. They seemed to really enjoy their experience. I remember talking to them on Christmas (when they were there) on a web cam. Amazing what a small place the world is, huh? Take care and steer clear of the kimchee! We have a blog where you can see pics of Dima, http://marloweblessings.blogspot.com/
