Jet Lag Sucks…
...But here are some things that have really been helping:
an electronic picture frame from Tess. We have put many pictures of family and friends on it to remind us of them. However, we try to limit the Hawai‘ian scenic landscapes; we don’t want to make it worse! Thanks a lot, Tess!!- Papa John’s pizza is located on the bottom floor of our building! We ordered it for dinner last night. But we can’t order delivery as we can’t say our address!
- Megan’s new camera, a Canon SD750, a Festivus present from her parents. It’s really great to be able to take pictures of the new strange food and us flashing peace signs.
iChat, iChat Theater and Video Chats! We enjoy talking to you guys online; we haven’t really found a reason to need to pay for Skype minutes yet! And, if need be, I can troubleshoot my Mom’s computer from afar! So, be online early and often! And don’t forget to check NoPeanutButter.com!!
Is the dog on the right wearing a medal?
Glad you included me indirectly on your website. Lovely photo.
Be good guys, and keep the main thing the main thing.
Hey Jay,
This is your cousin Alicia. Dan and I are in Vladivostok Russia right now finishing up our adoption process of our son Dmitry Alexander. We flew through Incheon on the way here on the 11th and will be going back through there on the 8th of Dec. en route for home at last! We stayed the night at the Hyatt Regency and were way impressed with the Korean service. It reminded me of Aunt Jana (since she was born there) the way everyone was so polite and using such perfect manners. I still remember her saying 'your welcome' 6 times until I'd finally get it and say 'thank-you'. What can I say; I was a blonde then. We have friends who also taught ESL in Korea for a year after they were married. They live in Seattle now. They seemed to really enjoy their experience. I remember talking to them on Christmas (when they were there) on a web cam. Amazing what a small place the world is, huh? Take care and steer clear of the kimchee! We have a blog where you can see pics of Dima, http://marloweblessings.blogspot.com/
It is interesting to note that Alicia is only about as far from you guys as Tokyo--about 750 miles in my crude estimation! How cool is that! And who could have predicted it 10 years ago!
Who are the pups? Kona is angered. How's the Korean handbook helping?
Those pups are my pups, Roxy and Ranger, and they deserve a medal!
